Friday

Free Demo Yoga Classes at The Music Studio at Vinings. 4pm and 5pm. 4895 S Atlanta Rd SE, Smyrna. Bring in your little yogis from 6-9 years old. Improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and meditation techniques. They will also learn self-respect and respect for others with the practice of fun and challenging poses, partner and group poses, lots of yoga games, music, and breathing.  Class is 45 minutes.

 

Saturday

Smyrna Fresh Produce Market. 8am – 12pm. Smyrna First Baptist (Market Village).

Marietta Square Farmers Market. 9am – 12pm. Marietta Square.

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations.

All Classes Free at Jitterbug Performing Arts. August 16 – 22nd. 1125 Concord Road, Smyrna. See website for classes, details and registration.

 

Sunday

Marietta Square Farmers Market. 12pm – 3pm. Marietta Square.

Atlanta Ballet Free Open House. 1pm – 4pm. 2000 Powers Ferry Rd. SE, Suite G-4, Marietta. Your budding dancer will love getting to experience the Atlanta Ballet.  Free dance classes, performances and crafts. This open house is perfect for all ages.
