African American History Rights Celebration. 2pm – 4pm. Switzer Library. Appearances by Ravan Durr, the South Cobb High School Platinum Steppers, Helen Battiste, Daniel Black, and the A.L. Burruss Unity Drummers.
Sunday
Daddy/Daughter Dance. 2:30 – 5pm. Mansour Center (Roswell St, Marietta). This annual event is open to fathers and their daughters ages 5-12 years old, and features a fun afternoon with great music, dancing, and refreshments. Dress is semi-formal to formal.
