Friday

Creativity Can at Barnes & Noble (Cumberland). 3pm. Crafting event to inspire creative exploration in children.  Ages 4+.

Martinis and Art (Date Night!). 5:30 – 8:30. Marietta Museum of Art. Free for members, $8/person for non-members.

Saturday

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations. This week’s craft: Sweet Treat Card.

Marietta Square Farmers Market. 10am – 1pm.

Valentine’s Day Storytime. 11am Barnes & Noble (Cumberland). Love Monster and other stories, crafts and Valentine’s treats.

Stories of the Civil Rights Movement – Family Story Time. 2:00 – 2:30. Smyrna Public Library.

African American History Rights  Celebration. 2pm – 4pm. Switzer Library. Appearances by Ravan Durr, the South Cobb High School Platinum Steppers, Helen Battiste, Daniel Black, and the A.L. Burruss Unity Drummers.

Sunday

Daddy/Daughter Dance. 2:30 – 5pm. Mansour Center (Roswell St, Marietta). This annual event is open to fathers and their daughters ages 5-12 years old, and features a fun afternoon with great music, dancing, and refreshments.
