Cobb County Easter Egg Hunt. CANCELED 10am – 2pm. Jim Miller Park. 2245 Callaway Rd. (Marietta). Cobb’s largest egg hunt features children’s art activities, live entertainment, inflatables, concessions, and more. You can also visit with the Easter Bunny and participate in the Mad Hatter contest. Northeast Cobb Community Egg Drop. 10am – 5pm. Sprayberry High School. 2525 Sandy Plains Rd. (Marietta). The ultimate egg hunt with over 90,000 eggs and pieces of candy spread out and dropped from a helicopter at the football fields at Sprayberry High School! Also includes inflatables, face painting, rides and photos with the Easter bunny. Ages 3 and under hunt at 11:30am, the helicopter drop occurs at 1:30, ages 4-7 hunt at 1:45, and ages 8 – 10 hunt at 3:30.
Eastside Baptist Church Egg Scramble. 10:30am – 1pm. 2450 Lower Roswell Rd. (Marietta). A helicopter will drop 20,000 Easter eggs stuffed with prizes. There will be a live critically acclaimed Latin band playing music, inflatable games, face painting, food, and more.
Easter in the Park with Smyrna First United Methodist Church. Still on! If it is raining, events will move to Fellowship Hall at Smyrna First United Methodist. 11am. Cobb Park (Across from Campbell High School). Egg hunt at 11am, picnic at 12 noon. A community-wide Easter egg hunt and cookout. Thousands of eggs, inflatables, egg toss, cotton candy, hot dogs and tons of fun!
Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations. This week’s craft: Custom wood canvas.
Marietta Square Farmers Market & Artists Market. 10am – 1pm.
Barnes & Noble Storytime. 11am. Cumberland location.
Free Women’s Self Defense Class. 3:30 – 5pm. Moore’s Martial Arts. 1810 Spring Road #4 (Smyrna). You will learn how to protect yourself with quick and easy to learn techniques that work. Escapes from holds and striking vital areas are some of the topics that will be covered. Feel empowered and have fun learning skills that will enable you to defend yourself. Perfect for beginners.
