Friday

A Wrinkle in Time – The Musical. 7pm. St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 490 Arnold Mill Rd., Woodstock. Join Lolek’s Storytellers in their fifth production, A Wrinkle in Time – The Musical. Original script and music score. Join Meg, her 5 year old little brother, Charles Wallace, and their new friend, Calvin O’Keefe, as they are swept into an adventure led by Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Which. Meg is eager to save her father, but the three children soon learn they are up against bigger evils than her father’s captors. Admission free – Donations accepted.

Movies at the Mable – Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. Gates open at 7:30, movie starts at dusk. Mable House Complex. This event is free. Concessions are available.

150th Anniversary of the Atlanta Campaign and the Battle of Kennesaw Mountain. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park will offer three days of commemorative programs, battlefield tours, and living history demonstrations at sites throughout the park from June 26-29. You can find a full list of events here.

Glover Park Concert Series. Marietta Square. Set up can begin as early as 4pm, concert begins at 8pm. Band: Ruperts Orchestra – Motown to Top 40.

 

Saturday

Smyrna Fresh Produce Market. 8am – 12pm. Smyrna First Baptist (Market Village).

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations.

Meditation Seminar. 3pm – 4:30, Moore’s Martial Arts, Smyrna. This is a class teaching non-religious meditation. The following will be covered: explanation of meditation, preparation for meditation, meditation postures, process of meditation and breathing exercises. This is a perfect class for beginners. The material is accessible and easy to apply quickly. Please come and prepare to relax and learn the skills to help you de-stress your life. Class is $25.
