Friday

Friday Film Fun. 2pm. Smyrna Public Library. The Nut Job, rated PG.

Cobb County Classic Rodeo. 8pm. Jim Miller Park. Bull riding, bareback riding, steer wrestling, team roping, tie down roping and barrel racing. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Cobb County Sheriff Mounted Patrol Unit. Adults $15.00; Children $12.00; Under 5 Free. Parking is $3.

 

Saturday

Smyrna Fresh Produce Market. 8am – 12pm. Smyrna First Baptist (Market Village).

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations.

Lift Up Atlanta Summer Fun Festival. 11am – 4pm. 6269 Riverview Rd SE, Mableton. This free event features live entertainment, delicious food, carnival games, activities for the kids, vendor shopping, magic show, and more. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and relax and enjoy the show.

Fizz, Boom, Movies! 3:00. Switzer Library, Marietta. Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (original).
