Weekend Events, July 11 – 13


Friday

Chick-fil-A Cow Appreciation Day and Fun Run. All day. Fun Run specific to Vinings location. Visit Chick-fil-A dressed like a cow and receive free food. A partial costume gets you a free entree. A full costume gets a free meal. At 6:30 the 1 mile fun run starts from the Publix parking lot. Pre register here.

 

Saturday

Smyrna Fresh Produce Market. 8am – 12pm. Smyrna First Baptist (Market Village).

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations.

Smyrna Soccer Club Walk Up Registration. 10am – 2pm. 2688 Atlanta Road, Smyrna (between the Smyrna Community Center and Police Station). Rec programs available for ages 3 – 18 with fall and spring leagues. 

Build your own Rocket at Tellus Museum. 10am – 3pm, Cartersville. (A little out of our area, but a great event). Build your own rocket with expert help and launch it that day. If weather conditions don’t allow a launch, the event will be rescheduled. Ages 8+ only, no exceptions. Call (770) 606-5700 to make reservations. $30 non-members, $15 members.

Smyrna Summer Concert Series. 7pm. Village Green.
