Cumberland Community Church MOPS Consignment Sale. 110 Sports Ave SE, Smyrna, 9:30 am – 7 pm. Cumberland Community Church MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) holds a semi-annual sale each Fall and Spring. There will be over 200 sellers from all over Atlanta and the space features wide-open spaces for shopping with strollers. There will be high-quality, gently used clothing in sizes newborn through size 10, maternity clothes, toys, baby gear, books, bedding and more. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.
Lil Lambs Closet Consignment Sale. First United Methodist Church of Marietta. 56 Whitlock Avenue, Marietta, 9 am – 7 pm. The Lil’ Lambs Closet is one of Marietta’s longest running church consignment sales. We have been around for more than 40 years. We sell quality, gently-used children’s clothing and toys, as well as maternity clothing, children’s books/ dvd’s and nursery items. Lil’ Lambs is a great place to give your child’s outgrown clothes a new home (and make a little money, too). Consignors have the option of donating unsold items to a community mission where the items are much-needed and well-used.
Pass It On Children’s Consignment Sale. Austell United Methodist Church. 4340 Collins Circle, Acworth, 9 am – 6:30 pm. Great Bargains on gently-used items, clothing: infant through teen sizes, maternity clothes, infant furniture and equipment, toys, books, games, outdoor equipment, bikes, etc.
Mt. Bethel Children’s Consignment and Bake Sale. Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church. 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, 9 am – 7 pm (No children or strollers allowed on the floor before noon. Nursery for all ages available for $4/hour until noon.). First time moms are able to register for preview sale is for a First Time Mom that is pregnant with her first her or her only child that is 9 months or younger as of March 2015. Proceeds from the sale go to support missions locally, state, country and overseas. In addition, items donated and unsold are given to families in need as well local and global missions who use them to cloth and entertain those in need.

Home Depot Kids’ Workshop. 9am – 12pm. All Home Depot locations. These workshops are designed for children 5 – 12. In addition to their craft, they will receive a free apron, pin and certificate while supplies last. All materials available on a first come, first serve basis. This month’s activity: Build bookends.
Marietta Farmers Market. 10am – 1pm, year round. Marietta Square.
Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations. Drop in and create a craft (themes vary by week). $2 for 30 minutes + supplies. Recommended age: 3+. This week’s theme: Windsock.

Read to Raven at Switzer Library. 11:30. Raven is a Careing Paws dog. She comes with her handler to listen to children read aloud to her. The children each have a 15 minute time slot & should be able to read on their own. A great opportunity for kids to gain confidence in their reading ability. Reservations are required!
Family Storytime at Smyrna Public Library. 2-2:30. Stories, songs, and a related craft.
