Lent Family Fish Fry Dinner. 5:30 – 7:30. St Joseph Catholic Church, Lacey Street, Marietta, GA. Tickets available at Marist Hall every Friday during Lent except Good Friday. Adults/$9, Children 3 – 12/$5, Children under 3/Free. Maximum for the Family – $25 (2 adults & 3 or more Children).

Young Actors Playhouse Presents “Back to the Beanstalk”. 7:30pm. Young Actors Playhouse. Jack’s village has been overrun with rats and mice, and his mother doesn’t have enough money to pay the Piper to get rid of them. After Jack trades his cow for beans, adventure and hilarity ensues! AMC Sensory Friendly Film – Muppets Most Wanted. 10am. AMC Parkway Pointe (Cobb Parkway). In partnership with The Autism Society, AMC Sensory Friendly Films are for families affected by autism, and are held on a monthly basis in select communities. The program provides a special opportunity for families to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment. The auditoriums dedicated to the program have their lights up, the sound turned down and audience members are invited to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing!

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations. This week’s craft: Make your own Mondrian-style painting.

Marietta Square Farmers Market. 10am – 1pm.

Barnes & Noble Storytime. 11am. Cumberland location.

Farm Day at the Chattahoochee Nature Center. 12pm – 4pm. 9135 Willeo Road, Roswell. Spring is back and so are the animals! Whether they are on the farm, in the woods or in our homes, animals play a central role in our lives. Discover the importance of spring animals and how best to appreciate them.Visit the Nature Center’s Unity Garden to discover all the produce that can be grown on just ¼ of an acre. Explore the rows of vegetables that are grown to support the food pantry at North Fulton Community Charities and see how locally produced food helps our watershed stay healthy. Will be held INDOORS. Basic admission rates apply, but there is not a special cost for this event.

Cloth Diaper Workshop.  10:30am. Steve and Virginia Tumlin Park at Hickory Hills. Whether you’re considering cloth diapering or new to it and feeling overwhelmed, or have been doing it for awhile and have run into some issues, this is the workshop for you! We will be talking about reasons to cloth diaper, what you’ll need to get started, CD accessories, types and brands of cloth diapers, our cleaning routines and preferred detergent brands, diaper creams and CD, how to fold and use cloth, and troubleshooting issues (like leaks, stains, getting sticky poop out, etc.). And bonus- All attendees will receive a few free samples of cloth diapering (accessory) products! Please RSVP here.
