All 4 Kids Consignment Sale – East Cobb. 9:30 – 8pm. (Strollers welcome after 11am). 400 Sellers and bargains galore. Clothes, toys, books, bikes, shoes, linens & more.

Lent Family Fish Fry Dinner. 5:30 – 7:30. St Joseph Catholic Church, Lacey Street, Marietta, GA. Tickets available at Marist Hall every Friday during Lent except Good Friday. Adults/$9, Children 3 – 12/$5, Children under 3/Free. Maximum for the Family – $25 (2 adults & 3 or more Children).

Young Actors Playhouse Presents “Back to the Beanstalk”. 7:30pm. Young Actors Playhouse. Jack’s village has been overrun with rats and mice, and his mother doesn’t have enough money to pay the Piper to get rid of them. After Jack trades his cow for beans, adventure and hilarity ensues! Smyrna’s Preparathon Family Expo. 10am – 2pm. Smyrna Elementary School. Join us for FREE preparedness activities on Saturday, March 22 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Smyrna Elementary School.  Seminars on food safety, first aid, disaster kit preparedness, Red Cross resources and pet care. Demos on Boy Scouts Personal Safety, K-9, SWAT Team, Chainsaw Safety  and Generator Operation. There will be bounce houses, games, food trucks and more.

Michaels Kids’ Club. 10am, 10:30, 11, 11:30. All Michaels locations. This week’s craft: Making a photo frame.

Marietta Square Farmers Market. 10am – 1pm.

A New Orleans girl turned Georgia peach and stay at home mom to 2 daughters. Before taking the leap into full time mothering, I worked at at an Atlanta-based advertising agency. I have lived in Smyrna for almost 10 years and am still not sure how I managed to find a job more chaotic and unpredictable than advertising.
