Cumberland Community Church MOPS Consignment Sale. 9:30am – 7pm. 110 Sports Ave SE, Smyrna. Cumberland Community Church MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) holds a semi-annual sale each Fall and Spring.  There will be over 200 sellers from all over Atlanta and the space features wide-open spaces for shopping with strollers. There will be high-quality, gently used clothing in sizes newborn through size 10, maternity clothes, toys, baby gear, books, bedding and more. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted.

Cobb County Library Book Sale. 9am – 5pm. Jim Miller Park. The Cobb County Library and The Friends of the Library are hosting their semi-annual book sale. Over 100,000 items are for sale including hardcover and softcover books for children, young adults and adults; audio-visuals including books on tape and compact disc; videocassettes; compact discs; records; magazines; and comic books. All proceeds are used to purchase new books and other library materials.

Lent Family Fish Fry Dinner. 5:30 – 7:30. St Joseph Catholic Church, Lacey Street, Marietta, GA. Tickets available at Marist Hall every Friday during Lent except Good Friday. Adults/$9, Children 3 – 12/$5, Children under 3/Free. Maximum for the Family – $25 (2 adults & 3 or more Children).

Barnes & Noble Storytime. 11am. Cumberland location.

Prom Jam 2014. 4pm – 7pm. Cumberland Mall. There will be music from V-103 and tips on the latest hair and make-up trends from Regis Salon and Color U Cosmetics.  Miss Prom Jam will be crowned and will receive her $150 gift card for the mall, as well as a matching gift card for her school. You can also help a local teen by bringing a gently used prom dress to donate to Becca’s Closet.
